Time to relaaaax
Hey everyone,
Midterms are finally over for me! So I'm glad that stress is lifted off my shoulders, whew!
It's been tiring, but very eventful, for these last several weeks. A lot's been going on. On October 11, I participated in the run for breast cancer awareness right in New Orleans. The turnout was great! There was a lot of people and it was really fun. Tons of people showed up and we had a lot more sponsors than anticipated.
Last weekend, I volunteered at a Children's Center located uptown in new orleans. They had a halloween party going on and needed chaperones! Anyway, it was great and the kids loved the treat or treating plus all the fun activities that were set up.
I'm so excited about Halloween myself! There's a lot of parties and events going on. Later on this week, I'm going to one of the haunted houses here in New Orleans, the Mortuary. It's rated one of the scariest in America by the Discovery Channel! I had no idea until a friend showed me the flyer and that didn't make me feel any better about going! But I'm sure it'll be fun, since I'm going with a lot of friends.
Happy Halloween everyone!
